Terms pertaining to the theme and game

  • Addison Vs. Clark - court ruling that deemed vampires as citizens of the United States
  • Alpha lycanthrope - a dominant lycanthrope who exhibits an inner power, akin to a Master Vampire
  • Animator - a human who can raise the dead as a zombie
  • Ardeur - a vampire hunger for lust rather than blood
  • Baugi - The helper of the Bolverk of a werewolf pack
  • Bolverk - A werewolf who does the dirty deeds
  • Church of Eterntal Light - a vampiric church that believes that their nature is a gift from God. They do not feed from children, the unwilling, or freaks. The Master Vampire in charge of a given church does not Oath its members.
  • Crimson District - A part of the city that is dominated by vampires, a play off of the red-light district
  • Dominant lycanthrope - a lycanthrope that exercises control/influence over others
  • Executioner - One who has the authority to execute vampires and other preternaturals who have been deemed a threat to socity
  • Eranthe - a female shifter with the duty to teach younger shifters how to control their beasts during sex.
  • Eros - a male shifter with the duty to teach younger shifters how to control their beasts during sex.
  • Fenrir - the challenger to the Ulfric of a werewolf pack
  • Freak - someone who enjoys being bitten by vampires
  • Freki - Second to the Ulfric of a werewolf pack, on equal footing as the Geri
  • Freyja - a Lupa who mates with other werewolves other than the Ulfric
  • Geri - Second to the Ulfric of a werewolf pack, on equal footing as the Freki
  • Ghost - a spirit of the dead, usually, but not always, unable to interact with the living
  • Ghoul - an undead creature with animalistic intelligence and a craving for flesh
  • Glamour - the power to make one self more appealling, fascinating, attractive through the use of a magic or power
  • Guunlod - The helper of the Bolverk of a werewolf pack
  • Harlequin - a group of vampires responsible for dealing the Council's justice
  • Hati - Second enforcer and bodyguard of the Ulfric of a werewolf pack
  • HAV - Humans Against Vampires - a group trying to make vampirism illegal
  • HF - Humans First - a group seeking to remove preternaturals from society
  • Hornless Goat - a human sacrifice
  • Human Servant - a human marked by a master vampire
  • Incubus - a male preternatural creature that feeds off of sex and lust
  • Kadru - the female leader of a group of werecobras
  • Kashyapa - The male leader of a group of werecobras
  • Kiss - a group of vampires
  • Leoparde Lionne - a dominant wereleopard that protects the pard
  • Lion Passant - a wereleopard leader who does not actively protects the pard
  • Lukoi - what Werewolves call themselves
  • Lupa - The Mother of the Pack, the Ulfric's mate
  • Lupanar - a place of power for werewolves, also the name for their gathering on full moons
  • Lycanthrope - a shapeshifter, generally as a result of a highly infectious virus
  • Master of the City - the vampire in control of the other vampires in a city
  • Master Vampire - a dominant vampire, gifted with special powers
  • Mora - Also called a Night Hag, a vampire who creates and feeds off of fear
  • Munin - spirits of dead shapeshifters
  • Necromancer - a human who has extreme power over the dead and undead
  • Night Hag - Also called a mora, a vampire who creates and feeds off of fear
  • Nimir-ra - The Leopard Queen, the lead female of the Pard, often the Nimir-Raj's mate
  • Nimir-Raj - The Leopard King, the head of a Pard
  • Null - a human with absolutely no preternatural abilities or potential
  • Oath - a binding pledge made by one vampire to another.
  • Oba - The female leader or Queen of a group of werehyena
  • Pack - a group of Werewolves
  • Pard - What wereleopards call themselves, also a group of wereleopards
  • Pardanar - a place of power for wereleopards, also the name of their gathering on the full moon
  • Pomme de Sang - One who enjoys a special relationship with a vmapire as a steady source of food in exhange for protection
  • Preternatural - beyond what is natural, ie. vampires, werewolves, zombies, etc.
  • Pride - a group of werelions
  • Pyrokinetic - someone who can create or control fire through psychic abilities
  • Regina - the mate to the head of a Pride of werelions
  • Revenant - a vampire who s not in control and controlled by the blood lust
  • Rex - The king of the werelions
  • Rodere - what Wererats call themselves
  • Rom - The king of a group of wererats
  • RPIT - Regional Preternatural Investigation Taskforce - A police squad who specializes in cases dealing with the preternatural
  • Skoll - Head enforcer and bodyguard for the Ulfric of a pack
  • Stalking Horse - a vampire used by a Master to protect himself from challenges
  • Sourdre de sang - Fountain of Blood - the progenitor of a vampiric bloodline
  • Submissive lycanthrope - a lycanthrope who must have an alpha to watch over them in a group setting
  • Succubus - a female preternatural creature that feeds off of sex and lust
  • Suttung - The helper of the Bolverk of a werewolf pack
  • Temoin - A Master of the City's second-in-command
  • Ulfric - The Wolf King, the leader of a pack of werewolves
  • Ursa - the leader of a group of werebears
  • Vampire - an undead human who feeds on the blood of humans
  • Vampire Council - the ruling body of all vampires, located in France, also called the Parisian Council
  • Vampire Marks - a bond between a human and a Master vampire, four in total
  • Vargamor - a wise man or woman of a werewolf pack. A human, usually a witch
  • Vaudun/Voodoo - An African-Carribbean religion that practices the creation of zombies
  • White Goat - a human sacrifice
  • Zombie - a corpse raised by an animator
